Once again we are pleased to sponsor a proficiency award at the Annual FFA Banquet. FFA has been a positive influence in my life and in my children's lives. What a great program this is! What a wonderful asset it is to our community and our school. The FFA has helped so many through the years. Thank you, Mrs. Presley for all that you do.

Lobbying for State Funds

I spent the last few days in Phoenix, meeting with legislators and other county supervisors, fighting for the taxpayers of Greenlee County. The budget has not been finalized. I am still lobbying for our best interests.

Javalina Chase

We just completed another successful Javelina Chase and Rampage. John and Pam Lieberenz once again did an excellent job of planning the bicycle race. Dan Carver also did a great job planning the Ghost Mine Rumble . I want to thank the Greenlee County Rodeo Royalty for helping us present awards. I also want to thank the many volunteers who helped with the event in various ways.
Everyone who attended the Rampage seem to have a really good time. There was family fun for everyone.

Lobbying Staff of the President of the United States

The past few days I've talked with staff members of the different agencies of the President of the United States. I talked with senators and representatives of Arizona on forest, wolf, payment-in-lieu-of-taxes or PILT, Secure Rural Schools, and infrastructure concerns of Greenlee County.
No photo description available.
We had meetings with different staff members at the Executive Offices of the President.
