Governor Ducey's Visit to Greenlee County

After listening to the schools, the towns, the Cattlegrowers and Freeport, its interesting to notice that the county issues are similar to their issues. This should be true since the county represents them. Thank you, Governor Ducey for coming to Greenlee County. It was good to see old friends who are on Governor Ducey's staff.

Greenlee County Showmanship Showdown

We had a very successful event at the Greenlee County Fairground. Thanks to all those who made the Greenlee County Showmanship Showdown a success, especially the FFA and 4-H leaders. We had a large turnout. The prize buckles were gorgeous. Come see these kids in a few weeks at the fair.

Trimming Feet for FFA and 4-H Youth

Helping kids with their 4-H, FFA and animal projects is one of my favorite things to do. Here I am helping this young man trim his 4-H steers. Doing this has allowed me to meet some of the best kids this valley has to offer, and I have met a lot of them. I have been doing this longer than I can remember.

Mexican Wolf Program

No photo description available.
I was able to attend the Arizona/New Mexico meeting in which a presentation was provided on the Mexican Wolf Recovery plan. I would welcome any thoughts or feedback on your feelings about the Mexican Wolf recovery plan. This is a hot topic right now in the Southwest region of our country, and influences our natural resources, ranching and cattle, and the policies we implement as a state and county. Please let me know how you feel!
